Can I open my Kindle, Kobo, or Storytel books directly? +
Only when the platform provides an authorised export or partner API. Folio Fellow never bypasses DRM. You can upload your own DRM-free EPUB, TXT, or supported PDF and follow safe links from the catalogue to bookshops.
Does Folio Fellow use my books to train AI? +
Folio Fellow does not use your book text for advertising or its own model training. Only the selected passage is sent with your question. You can delete local data immediately; full cloud-data and account deletion is a hard release requirement for the public version.
Is the AI always correct? +
No AI is infallible. The Fellow therefore sees only the selected passage, grounds its response in that source, and states uncertainty. For study or research, checking the book remains essential.
