Your library is private.
Folio Fellow is designed around data minimisation: processing only what is needed to open your book and answer your question.
Launch draftThis document describes the intended product policy. Before commercial launch, it must be reviewed against the final business identity, infrastructure, contracts and applicable law.
Data we intend to process
- Account data such as your email address, subscription status and language preference.
- Book files you import, reading progress, highlights and notes.
- The selected passage, your question and the AI answer.
- Limited technical and security logs for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
How we use that data
To provide, secure and improve the reading service, answer your questions and synchronise your personal library. We do not sell personal data or use your book text for advertising.
AI processing
Only the context needed for a question is sent to the configured AI processor. Before commercial launch, we will finalise the selected OpenAI data controls, retention periods, region and data processing agreement.
Retention and deletion
The product must support account deletion, book deletion and conversation deletion. Operational backups will have a limited expiry period. Final periods will be added to this policy before launch and enforced technically.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. The designated contact address is hello@foliofellow.com and must be made operational before launch. The competent Dutch supervisory authority and final business identity will also be added before launch.
